Coaching is a facilitative process that aims to help an individual maximize their potential in order to achieve a desired goal. The focus is primarily placed on the present rather than on the distant past or future. In coaching, the belief is that you possess the answers to our own challenges and it is the role of the coach to help you uncover the answers you are looking for. In that sense, a coaching relationship can be viewed as a collaborative process. 

My career coaching approach is a process by which we work together to explore your ideal career while also taking into account the lifestyle you want to lead. First, I help you to uncover your career ideal by helping you connect with your authentic self and core values. From there, I help you identify the skills and abilities you possess and that you would like to exploit in your work. We then work together to paint a picture of the ideal work environment that would allow you to exercise the type of work you would like to do but also fit with your authentic self, values and supports the vision of the lifestyle you want for yourself. 

Throughout this process, my role is to listen for what you're not saying, challenge your thinking, help you overcome the limiting beliefs and mental blocks getting in the way of you moving in the direction of your goal, as well as provide support and encouragement.

As a coach, my work is about facilitating your learning for the purpose of helping you get to where you want to be. As such, you can expect me to engage in thought-provoking discussions with you for the purpose of helping you think creatively and mobilize you into taking action toward achieving your goal.
